Byte Size Coaching can give Idaho Rush coaches the tools they need to succeed.
Message from Tony Colavecchia, Technical Director.
Over the years as the game of soccer has grown and developed in the United States more and more paid coaches have been integrated into the structure of youth soccer.
However, at the very grass roots level of the game it is fundamentally the volunteer coaches and the parent coaches who spark the imagination of young players to get involved in and enjoy the world’s greatest game.
I am continually amazed at the number of parent coaches and volunteer coaches who give countless hours of energy, patience and commitment in helping young players learn the skills of the game.
The Idaho Rush, established in April 2006, has approximately 4,000 players in its organization, ranging from the recreational level player to the competitive player.
Our goal is to continue to provide playing and coaching opportunities at every level of the game and at all ages. The Idaho Rush is known as “the peoples club."
We have established a relationship with Tony Waiters and Byte Size Coaching quite simply because we feel our coaches need a daily support system of coaching ideas and need to be in touch with a teaching philosophy that is consistent!
After many conversations with Tony Waiters, World of Soccer, I feel the Byte Size Coaching program will complement the Idaho Rush philosophy and will enhance the level of coaching at all levels.
Tony Colavecchia
Idaho Rush Technical Director
